a few tidbits about me:
i am a mom to
three wonderful children. they light up my life (and of course make me
just a little nuts sometimes :). i love all things that tell a story. an old mason jar from my grandma. a painting from a local artist. an old, worn piece of furniture. anything in an antique store. and of course, photos! i absolutely
love looking at photographs in which i can take one glance and feel
the emotion of that particular moment.
a few of my favorite things: apple pie (the one from trader joes is excellent, by the way), being outside, music, chai tea, the sound of my children laughing, and last but not least…my hubby!
in my life before our children joined our family, i was a social worker. i loved working with people from varying backgrounds, and found each of their stories to be fascinating.
i find babies and children to be so interesting… each with their own story and personality. i love photographing them and capturing their true personality and the raw emotions that they exude.
i like when people are brought to tears when looking at the photos i take of their children. i want parents/grandparents to be moved when looking at photos of their little ones.
oh, and people often wonder where the name “bluebees” originated. when my daughter was a year old, she said “bluebees” rather than “blueberries.” like everything she did, we found it to be so sweet. i’m sure she had no idea she would inspire the name of her mommy’s business!
thanks for passing through. hopefully you like what you see and i will get the opportunity to capture some fun, silly, serious, sweet, emotion-filled moments of your little ones.
